An Apple-1, the first of that brand and that according to the seller is fully functional, has been put up for sale on Ebay for 1.7 million dollars (1.5 million euros). The computer, according to the images shown on the website, is composed of a wooden box, which houses the computer and the keyboard, and is connected to a small black and white monitor.

This monitor, according to the announcement, is «a vintage Sony TV-115, recommended by Steve Jobs, with video modulator». The seller, who points out that the Apple-1 belongs to him since the beginning of 1978, also provides digital copies of the operating manuals. The Apple-1 was the first computer model manufactured and marketed by the brand of the bitten apple. Designed by Steve Wozniak, co-founder of the company, it was his partner Steve Jobs who convinced him to sell some units.

The computer was presented by both computer scientists at the Homebrew Computer Club, in Palo Alto (California) in 1976, and only Paul Terrell, owner of a chain of stores called Byte Shop, was interested in the device. The germ of what would become one of the leading computer companies came out with a series of 200 copies and sold at the time for $ 666.66 (600 euros).

In September of last year an Apple-1 was auctioned that reached a price of 375,000 dollars (338 345 345 euros) and in 2017 another copy achieved in a bid 110,000 euros (111,000 dollars).
