Red Dead Redemption 2: Gameplay
As seen in the previous trailer, Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place in an extensive American landscape and presents everything from mountainous regions to swamps, deserts and forests, without loading screens that stand in your way.
You play as Arthur Morgan, the leader of the Van der Linde gang, fleeing Lawmen throughout the United States. A large part of the game is your camp; As you move from one place to another, you will assume activities and missions related to the camp. These range from maintenance (the camp and the gang need regular provisions, either food or cash) to specific character missions.

You can also interact with the residents of the open world in ways never seen before. The interactions will change depending on the situation and the way you choose to focus; Do you love to get out of the situation, or do you act aggressively and try to intimidate those around you? You will build a reputation based on your actions that will change the way NPCs interact with you, for better or worse.
In addition to interacting with human NPCs, your horse plays an important role in the game and, therefore, must be taken care of. You can build a bond with your horse by preparing them, feeding them and, if they are stressed, soothe them. The horses will have different characteristics and will adapt to different tasks, either crossing mountainous terrain or dragging cars.
Throughout the open world, you will find places like Armadillo and Ridgewood, cities populated with NPC as owners of general stores, gunsmiths and funeral homes. You can interact with the NPCs to get access to weapons and missions, and you can even play if you feel lucky, punk.
Slum markets will also be key to accessing new equipment at a reduced price, although the availability of these unreliable merchants will depend on the time of day, among other factors.
Vehicles in Red Dead Redemption 2 include handcarts and horse-drawn carriages next to your trusted steed, and they come in a variety of different forms.
